The Visual Arts Center (VAC) organizes and presents a variety of regional, national and international visual art exhibitions in two campus galleries. The work of students is also featured in BFA and MFA thesis exhibitions annually and faculty research is shown in the Biennial Art Department Faculty Exhibition.
Visual Arts Center Hours: The Visual Arts Center is open during the regular academic year, late August to mid May except during show installations. Please check the exhibitions and events page for current show dates.
Gallery Hours: MONDAY – THURSDAY 10am-5pm and FRIDAY 10am-2pm
Closed on university holidays, and during exhibition installations.
Admission is free to visit galleries or attend opening receptions.
Visual Arts Center Location:
The Visual Arts Center galleries are located in two adjacent buildings on the Boise State campus. Gallery One is located in the Liberal Arts Building (room 170) and Gallery Two is located in the adjacent Hemingway Center (room 110). Parking is available during regular gallery hours in the Visitor Parking lot in front of the Liberal Arts and Administration Buildings.
